HDR Sunset
This is a sunset here in the Mojave desert with forest fires raging on the other side of the mountains. I used HDR techniques to get a wide color range for some cool pictures (or at least I think so).
This is one of the low exposure shots I used to create the HDR composites. I thought it looked cool.
This is an HDR composite of 16 images meant to accurately represent what I saw that night with my eyes.
This and that are two HDR composites that I took some creative liberties with.
HDR Sunrise
This was the second HDR composite I attempted, and I thought it turned out fairly well. Pretty much the same shot as the first, just at a different time and with a little better working of the exposure.
HDR Afternoon
This was the first HDR composite I attempted, and was taken from my apartment balcony. It was mostly just an experiment to see how the images would blend together for the final image with the movement of the trees with the wind between shots and stuff like that, though it ended up showing just how bright it is here in the desert.
